Control and Release: A Philosophy of Making
Glass does not begin with form, but with the process itself. Its final state is defined by heat, gravity, and time.
At Tao Glass, we work with these variables with precision to achieve results that are consistent, deliberate, and enduring.
Making is a continuous negotiation between intervention and restraint. We define the conditions — the mould, the thermal curve, the annealing cycle — and allow the material to complete its transformation.
This balance between control and release gives each piece its character: subtle, quiet, and inherently unique.

Why Choose Tao Glass
Molten glass is poured into moulds to form solid, high-mass elements with real depth and weight. The process delivers precise detail and a strong three-dimensional presence. Typically used where structure, thickness, and material impact are required.

Multiple glass layers are fused in a kiln into a single body, allowing controlled color interaction and layering effects. The result is a surface with depth, texture, and responsive light behavior. Commonly applied in architectural glazing, interiors, and decorative panels.

Glass powders are kiln-formed to achieve precise control over translucency, texture, and color. The process produces a soft, matte surface with fine detail and subtle tonal variation. Mainly used for high-end artistic, collectible, and detail-driven applications.
